Can people see in at night?
During the day, no. At night, with lights on inside, shapes and shadows can show through. For bedrooms and bathrooms, we recommend blackout.
Light filtering or blackout for a bedroom?
If you want the room dark for sleep, choose blackout. Light filtering keeps a bedroom bright and private by day, but it won’t stop early sun or streetlights.
Can I motorize light filtering shades?
Yes. Motorization is available on shades 19 inches wide and up, and one remote controls up to 15 shades.
Can I see the fabrics before I order?
Yes. Free samples are mailed to you with no commitment. Hold them up to your window to see how much light comes through.
How long does a light filtering shade take to arrive?
We build your shade in about 2 weeks, often sooner. Once it’s built, shipping takes 2 to 4 days.
What if I measure wrong?
Call us at (330) 674-2590 before you order and we’ll go over your numbers with you. Our measuring guide walks you through every step, and we look over every order before we cut it. If something still isn’t right when it arrives, call us and we’ll do what we can to help.
